There’s something special about the salty breeze and laid-back charm of Fort Myers Beach. This Gulf Coast gem has a little bit of everything! If you’re anything like our family, we kept it simple and spent nearly every moment soaking up the sun at the beach or pool – and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. From family-friendly activities and restaurants, Fort Myers Beach offers the perfect blend of of beauty and coastal comfort! So let’s dive in to our low-key week at Fort Myers Beach!
Our family would stay no where other than the Pink Shell! Amazing room options, scenic pools, complimentary rentals, valet parking, breakfast, and so much more! They’re so sweet too they sent cookies and milk right to our room one day! The Pink Shell has some great dining options, our favorite was Rae’s and they had wonderful Italian food! The only other restaurants we ate while we were there were Yucatan (they have great seafood linguine) and Nervous Nellie’s (quite possibly the BEST crab)!
Fort Myers Beach was the perfect spot for our laid-back family getaway. Most of our days were spent poolside, watching the girls play volleyball or tossing a few rounds of corn hole between dips in the pool. When we weren’t lounging poolside, we were treating ourselves to snow cones or catching a quick snooze! It was the kind of trip where we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere or do anything – just being together, unwinding, and enjoying the sunshine was more than enough. I can’t get enough time soaking up my kiddos at this age!
